For years, the remarkable health benefits of R-alpha-lipoic acid have been limited by two critical factors: instability and poor bioavailability. Standard lipoic acid supplements are prone to degradation and are often broken down in the digestive tract, with only a fraction ever reaching the intended organs, tissues, and cells—particularly the nerves, liver, lungs, and kidneys, where its protective effects are most needed.
NuNerva® liposomal R-lipoic acid solves both challenges. We begin with R-Lipoic Sodium, the stabilized, active form of lipoic acid, ensuring maximum stability and bioactivity. We then encapsulate it within our advanced liposomal delivery system—making NuNerva® the first commercially available liposomal R-lipoic acid formula using this superior stabilized form.
Each 5 ml serving of NuNerva® is precisely formulated to deliver:
300 mg of R-Lipoic Sodium – The stabilized, bioactive form of R-alpha-lipoic acid, offering enhanced stability and solubility compared to the free acid form.
300 mg of Phosphatidylcholine – Derived from non-GMO sunflower lecithin, this essential phospholipid forms the liposomal bilayer that protects and transports the active ingredient directly to your cells.
This optimized 1:1 ratio ensures complete encapsulation and maximum delivery efficiency, allowing the full 300 mg of R-Lipoic Sodium to reach its target tissues rather than being consumed in the digestive tract.
R-alpha-lipoic acid has been extensively studied for its protective effects on nerve tissue and vital organs. NuNerva® is specifically formulated to support:
Neuro Health: Provides powerful antioxidant support for nerve health. R-lipoic acid helps protect peripheral nerves from oxidative stress, supports healthy nerve conduction, and promotes the regeneration of damaged nerve tissue. It has been extensively researched for its role in maintaining healthy nerve function and reducing discomfort associated with neuropathy.
Liver Protection and Cleansing: Supports the liver’s natural detoxification pathways, promotes healthy liver enzyme function, and aids in the body’s natural cleansing processes. R-lipoic acid plays a key role in glutathione regeneration, essential for phase II liver detoxification.
Hangover Prevention: By supporting alcohol metabolism and reducing oxidative stress in the liver, NuNerva® helps the body process alcohol more efficiently, minimizing the downstream effects associated with occasional overindulgence.
Support of the Liver, Lung, and Kidney: Provides potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory support to help maintain healthy tissue architecture. R-lipoic acid helps modulate fibrotic pathways, supporting the body’s natural ability to maintain healthy connective tissue in these critical organs.
R-alpha-lipoic acid is a master antioxidant, but in its free acid form, it is inherently unstable and can be difficult for the body to utilize effectively. R-Lipoic Sodium is the stabilized salt form, which offers:
Enhanced Stability: Resists degradation during storage and digestion, ensuring the active compound remains intact.
Superior Solubility: Provides improved water solubility for better handling and consistent bioavailability.
Maintained Bioactivity: Preserves the full therapeutic potential of the natural R-isomer, the biologically active form recognized by the body.
Even with a stabilized active ingredient, delivery remains paramount. Our liposomal technology encapsulates R-Lipoic Sodium in a protective phospholipid bilayer derived from sunflower lecithin. This sphere acts as a shield, safely transporting the nutrient through the harsh environment of the stomach and digestive system. By bypassing these barriers, NuNerva® delivers the full potency of stabilized R-Lipoic Sodium directly to the cells of the nerves, liver, lungs, and kidneys—the tissues where its protective benefits are most critical.
NuNerva® is designed for effortless integration into your daily wellness routine:
Recommended Dosage: Take 1 to 2 servings (5 ml to 10 ml) per day. For neuropathy support, consistent daily use is recommended. For hangover prevention, consider taking a serving before and after alcohol consumption.
Easy Mixing: Simply mix each serving with a cup of water or your favorite beverage. The liposomal formula disperses easily for smooth, convenient consumption.
Versatile: Enjoy on its own, added to smoothies, or mixed into juice—without compromising the integrity of the liposomal delivery system.
With the combination of R-Lipoic Sodium and liposomal encapsulation, NuNerva® offers unparalleled support for cellular, nerve, and organ health:
Unprecedented Bioavailability: The stabilized sodium form, combined with liposomal delivery, achieves absorption rates unattainable with standard R-LA supplements.
Targeted Nerve Support: Delivers active R-lipoic acid to peripheral nerves, helping protect against oxidative stress and supporting healthy nerve function.
Targeted Organ Support: Delivers active R-lipoic acid to the liver, lungs, and kidneys—the tissues most in need of its antioxidant and protective effects.
Liver Detoxification Support: Promotes glutathione synthesis and supports phase II detoxification pathways for comprehensive liver cleansing.
Hangover Prevention & Recovery: Supports alcohol metabolism, reduces acetaldehyde-induced oxidative stress, and promotes faster recovery.
Healthy Tissue Response: Helps maintain healthy connective tissue and supports the body’s natural modulation of fibrotic pathways in the liver, lung, and kidney.
Antioxidant Protection: Recycles other vital antioxidants like vitamins C and E, providing a robust defense against oxidative stress throughout the body.
